To graduate from Twentynine Palms High School students must earn the following credits:

ENGLISH 40 credits

MATH (Standards Based) 20 credits

PHYSICAL SCIENCE 10 credits

LIFE SCIENCE 10 credits

WORLD HISTORY 10 credits

US HISTORY 10 credits

AMERICAN GOVERNMENT 5 credits

ECONOMICS 5 credits

PHYSICAL EDUCATION 20 credits

HEALTH 5 credits

FINE ARTS 10 credits

ELECTIVES 75 credits

TPHS is on a 2 semester system with 6 periods during the class day. Each semester class is worth 5 credits. Therefore, students may earn 30 credits per semester.

ADDITIONAL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Students must pass the California High School Exit Exam and must also pass Algebra I. Some students may have met the Algebra requirement in junior high school.
